Job Overview

CS Group Canada is seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software applications used in aircraft and space systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough software testing in accordance with DO-178 standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop and execute test plans to verify the correctness of software design and functionality.
  • Identify and debug issues in engine control software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain traceability between software design and test artifacts to ensure seamless integration.
  • Participate in peer reviews to ensure high-quality testing and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software validation and verification.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve performance, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 2-6 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on embedded systems and software validation.
  • Strong knowledge of engine control software, C language, and scripting languages like Python.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Rational RTRT and LDRA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DOORS, and SVN.
  • Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC, RS-422, and Ethernet.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
