About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Thanh Vu Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new recipes and menus that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and mentor junior chefs in preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and cook meals for customers with dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality dishes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and hot work environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant in an urban area.
