MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada, known for its entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to empowering teams. We are seeking a talented Summer Agronomy Intern to join our team of experienced Agronomists in West Central Saskatchewan.

Role Overview

The Summer Agronomy Intern will play a key role in our team, working closely with experienced Agronomists to gain practical in-field experience in Precision Agriculture. This intensive and practical role will provide opportunities to develop advanced knowledge of VR mapping, conduct field scouting visits, and participate in research trials.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to assess plant stand, herbicide efficacy, and insect/disease management.
  • Perform plant stand counts and VR crop assessments.
  • Collect and analyze data from research trials.
  • Participate in Max Ag crop tours and industry agronomy tours.
  • Work closely with an experienced Agronomist to convey key information from the field.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education, with a preference for Agriculture.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in an outdoor setting and adapt to changing circumstances.
