Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide direct patient care and support to our patients, residents, and clients. As an Employed Student Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Currently enrolled in a recognized nursing education program in BC, with a minimum of 2nd year completed.
- Successful completion of at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation in your nursing program.
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with BCCNM as an Employed Student Registrant.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (Healthcare Provider CPR).
