The Nurse Practitioner:
Provides high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Develops and implements evidence-based care plans to improve patient quality of life and advance clinical competence.
Participates in hospital committees and research projects to contribute to the advancement of nursing practice and healthcare delivery.
About this opportunity:
This is a relief part-time (0.96 FTE) opportunity until September 30, 2024, or the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
About this location/unit:
Lillooet Hospital & Health Centre provides full services of medical, palliative, maternity, and ER coverage. A part-time OR program is also running 3 days per week, and there is also part-time coverage for physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The Emergency Department has 5 beds, including a cast room and treatment room, and is open 24 hours. The in-patient unit has 6 beds, including medical, palliative, and maternity. There are 2 RNs on shift.
