Job Title: Shipping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team at MD Food Transporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the smooth operation of our shipping department, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on shipping activities and performance metrics.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support the shipping department.
  • Arrange training for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support shipping operations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that goods are properly stored and tracked.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that shipping operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure that goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
