We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemistry professional to join our team at Eurofins GSC Poland Sp. z o. o.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an individual with a strong background in applied chemistry techniques to work as a Scientific Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and analysis within the Chemistry team, focusing on method development, method transfer, and routine analysis of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience working with applied chemistry techniques, preferably in organic matrices such as cannabis or food. Experience working in a contract laboratory is also considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform method development, validation, transfer, and routine analyses using various instrumentation
  • Learn and apply knowledge with additional advanced instrumentation techniques (HPLC, LC, LC-MS/MS, GC, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, etc.) and software (ChemStation/OpenLab, Empower, Chromeleon, Analyst, Mass Hunter)
  • Review data, prepare protocols, and reports to ensure testing projects meet timelines
  • Train new analysts to perform various techniques
  • Perform sample preparation and analysis, execute routine/non-routine methods and procedures, including method development, validation, verification, and sample testing
  • Perform instrument calibration, qualification, and preventative maintenance programs as necessary
  • Investigate and troubleshoot non-confirmatory results or methods
Requirements
  • A B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or diploma in a related field
  • Solid background and understanding of Chemistry
  • Excellent computer skills - proficiency with MS Office
  • Working knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
