Key Responsibilities- Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Our kitchen is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where teamwork and communication are essential. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be working in a rural area and will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Language and Work TermThis is a permanent position with a work language of English and a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week.
