Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at North Star Pho Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, preparing and serving food, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and serving food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Table Setting and Service: Set tables, bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Rural area.
  • Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, positive attitude, and willingness to relocate for this position.
