Job Summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Student to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As an Engineering Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by coordinating drawings, conducting trade quote reviews, and participating in project meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate drawings and ensure accuracy
  • Conduct trade quote reviews and verify material quantities, hours, and rates
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions
  • Conduct deficiency walks and input/update deficiency logs
  • Issue warranties and take/coordinate progress photos
  • Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings
Qualifications
  • Strong desire to work in a construction environment
  • Prior field construction experience is considered an asset
  • Application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting
