Job Title: Associate Director - Global Infrastructure and Project Finance

Fitch Ratings is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Global Infrastructure and Project Finance team in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of infrastructure and project finance transactions and assisting in the development of rating approaches and criteria for complex credits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analysis of infrastructure and project finance transactions
  • Assist in the development of rating approaches and criteria for complex credits
  • Collaborate with senior analytical members across regions to develop global rating criteria
  • Conduct research on new and existing transactions, evaluating innovative credit structures and identifying trends with credit impact
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other Fitch analytical groups to ensure analytical consistency and efficient execution of transactions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree at minimum, advanced degree a plus
  • 7+ years relevant experience in a capital markets and/or credit analysis role
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex structures and ask probing questions to issuers and their advisers
