About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team at Labels Master Printing and Packaging Inc. As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our printing presses to produce high-quality labels and packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Press Operation: Operate flexographic and offset presses to produce labels and packaging materials, ensuring high-quality output and meeting production schedules.
  • Press Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on presses, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Monitor press runs for quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent output.
  • Production Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules, including estimating costs and determining production methods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the press crew to set up, operate, and shut down presses, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a printing press operation role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.

  • Accuracy: Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality output.
  • Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the press crew.
