Landscape Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the landscapes of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic landscape maintenance tasks, including operation and maintenance of ride-on mowers and tractor mower equipment, line trimming, and pruning as required.
  • Conduct litter control in designated areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair of mowing equipment and attachments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out basic small gas tool maintenance, including replacement of air filters, blades, and cleaning of carburetors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid G Driver's license preferred, but not required for winter contract eligibility.
  • Good driving record required for company vehicle operation.
  • Minimum 1-year related experience preferred, but not necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Working adjacent to high-traffic volume highways.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
  • Required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
