Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Courier to join our team at Big Venture Sales Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient delivery routes
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
