About the Role:


We are seeking a seasoned Interior Designer to join our team at HOK. This is an exceptional opportunity to bring your skills and experience to a dynamic projects environment.



Job Description:

  • As an Interior Designer at HOK, you will be responsible for interpreting design concepts and layouts, including commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the profession.
  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative design solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or foreign equivalent, plus 7 years' experience in interiors projects.
  • Prior experience in conceptual design and rendering skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office, Revit, and AutoCAD, is required.
  • The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.
  • Additionally, they will have a proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
  • The role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct programming efforts such as space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishings and equipment, lighting, and color coordination.
  • Develop innovative design concepts that are practical, aesthetic, safe, and conducive to intended purposes and functions.
  • Implement all phases of a design project, including contracts, budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, documentation, specifications, and construction.
  • Maintain positive client relationships throughout the project and keep them informed of progress on a regular basis.
  • Solicit bids and assist in subcontracting fabrication, installation, and arrangement of materials, finishes, and furnishings required.
  • Responsible for managing project schedules and ensuring that projects are completed on time.
  • Communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or foreign equivalent.
  • At least 7 years' experience in interiors projects.
  • Prior experience in conceptual design and rendering skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
