Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef and Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Ma Now Thai Kitchen.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in kitchen operations and be fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and estimate costs to ensure efficient menu planning and inventory management.
  • Plan menus, manage kitchen operations, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, promoting a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen operations or related field.
  • Permanent employment status.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
