We are seeking two full-time Student Services Specialists to provide support services for Admissions, Records, and Registration at Scottsdale Community College (SCC).
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of support services for students, including admissions processing, residency, and lawful presence classifications, registration, and other related records processing.
- Respond to requests via in-person, online, by phone, and other media sources.
- Process and evaluate transcripts, monitor reports, and create and update department documents as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Admissions, Records, and Registration team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of college policies, procedures, and regulations related to student services.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in student services.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the college's mission and values.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of college policies, procedures, and regulations related to student services.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
