Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide top-tier customer service, meeting sales targets through sales and sales-related activities. This includes following up on quotes, orders, and posted invoices, as well as maintaining a clean and organized sales environment.

  • Key Performance Indicators: Meeting sales targets, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized sales environment.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales targets through sales and sales-related activities.
  • Follow up on quotes, orders, and posted invoices.
  • Keep the sales environment stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Vistek sales programs and their impact on sales.
  • Stay up to date on products through Visnet, seminars, web, magazines, discussions with colleagues, and industry events.
  • Actively seek opportunities to increase the client database.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes and previous customers to create optimal opportunities.
  • Support other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a professional photographic environment.
  • Knowledge of photo and video equipment is a requirement.
  • Comfortable working knowledge of top brands.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and computer literacy is an asset.
  • Involvement with the photo, video, or film community is an asset.
  • Graduate of a recognized post-secondary photographic, video, or related program, or relevant experience.
  • Previous sales background is an asset.
  • Competent in Microsoft suite and Mac operating systems.
  • Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP systems.
  • Previous retail experience is considered a definite asset.

  • Ability to stay on top of product knowledge to provide best-in-class service.
  • Ability to take over key accounts and provide technical advice and solutions selling.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Formal photo or video related education or relevant experience.
