If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals, Armour is seeking a Director of IT to oversee their technology and infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security systems. The Director of IT will manage a team of IT professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure that technology is being used effectively to meet business needs. You'll play a key role in IT leadership, leading our IT steering committee, and the continued success and improvement of The Armour Group Limited's IT Operations while upholding their values of collaboration, integrity, accountability, and responsible leadership. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning as a member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the development of strategies and methodologies to integrate and optimize the organization's strategy, roadmap, and tactics. Team and Resource Management: Oversee resources, staffing, and the IT budget. Develop and enhance a best-in-class team, ensuring accountability for aggregate performance. Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, including conducting regular performance reviews and feedback. Ensure the security and integrity of all technology systems, including data protection and network security. Review and improve disaster recovery plans and risk mitigation planning. Collaboration and Relationship Building: Collaborate and build relationships with Operations, the Executive Team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, understand gaps, and propose strategic improvements. Systems Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, and peripherals. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services. Understanding of the network setup and support for remote locations. Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT operations. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a large IT environment with multiple locations and complex technology systems. Strong technical knowledge of hardware (cloud and on-prem), software, network infrastructure, and security systems. Experience managing a team of IT professionals and collaborating with other departments. Experience in Hospitality is an asset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience/education.
