Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in Iqaluit, Nunavut. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will conduct psychiatric assessments, mental status exams, and provide clinical leadership in the delivery of community awareness and public education activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and mental status exams
  • Provide clinical leadership and serve as a subject matter expert
  • Collaborate with other community health staff in the delivery of community awareness and public education activities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health issues
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Nursing with experience in mental health
  • Minimum of three (3) years psychiatric nursing experience
  • Valid class 5 diver's license
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
