**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Tax Manager/Director to join our growing Professional Services Tax practice in Los Angeles. As a Tax Manager/Director, you will manage and develop relationships with great clients, assist clients with meeting their tax and financial planning objectives, research and draft technical tax memoranda, review and sign tax returns, and be creative with staff development and mentoring.

**Responsibilities**

  • Manage and develop relationships with great clients.
  • Assist clients with meeting their tax and financial planning objectives by using a range of tools (including wealth transfer and estate planning).
  • Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.
  • Review and sign a variety of tax returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate.
  • Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.

**Requirements**

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have an active CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Director position, a JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Manager position, a JD may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.

**Compensation Strategy**
