About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist for Embedded Systems to join our team in North America. As a key member of our team, you will provide training, deployment plans, coaching, and expertise services to clients regarding cyber security standards applicable to their domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing cybersecurity frameworks and management systems as per UN R155
  • Providing coaching and training to automotive system & software development teams on quality targets and process/methods development and improvement
  • Conducting gap analysis on client current development processes and applicable cybersecurity standard requirements
  • Reviewing processes, tools, and methods to ensure compliance with QMS & ASPICE requirements
  • Preparing risk analysis according to ISO 21434 (TARA), IEC 62443, for complex systems, HW, and SW in view of improving design and proposing secure implementations (Optional)
  • Participating in technical discussions as part of business development efforts
  • Guiding how to perform cybersecurity testing-related activities
  • Participating in the elaboration of test plans and their execution for cybersecurity aspects such as penetration testing, fuzz testing, vulnerability analysis

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Cybersecurity and relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years experience in systems engineering in domains such as automotive, aerospace, medical, nuclear
  • Experienced on ASPICE/QMS with strong knowledge on Cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of J3061 and ISO 21434, IEC 62443 or other similar cybersecurity standards
  • Experience in a position requiring excellent understanding of hardware and embedded software as well as the larger system picture
  • Full system, hardware, or software V development lifecycle and ASPICE experience (requirements, design, implementation, verification, and testing)
  • Knowledge of implementing cybersecurity solutions in embedded systems such as HSM, secure boot, secure diagnostic, secure on-board communication, and secure end-to-end architecture and secure OTA update (according to UN R156 SUMS)
  • Knowledge and experience in testing systems and software in the context of cybersecurity threats
  • Curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and ability to find innovative solutions and compromises

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
