Job Description:

We are seeking dependable and organized individuals to work as on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for delivering mail to various communities on an on-call basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and timely
  • Familiar with local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Able to lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Valid permanent provincial driver's license (class 5 or G) and satisfactory safe driving record
  • A minimum cargo capacity of 100 cu ft (2832 liters), metal roof-top, and accessory power outlet
  • Ability to make deliveries in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions
