The Role:

The Chief Financial Strategist will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management to ensure alignment with our growth strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of financial systems, tools, and processes to drive cross-functional initiatives and inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.
  • Provide actionable financial analysis and insights to the executive team and Board of Directors to drive business decisions.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and oversee potential mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising efforts.
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's long-term stability and growth.
  • Collaborate with other executives to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure financial alignment with operational goals.
  • Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally within a start-up or high-growth company.
  • Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to raise capital, manage investor relations, and oversee mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience with financial risk management and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency with financial management software and ERP systems.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
