We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Attendant for Individuals with Disabilities to join our team at Heather Sawchuk. As an Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our clients with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
- Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and other activities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience.
- Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience, and honesty.
- Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week.
