Culinary Specialist Job Description

TacoTime Spruce Grove is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and presented to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain food safety standards
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of communication
