Critical Care Nurse

The Critical Care Nurse:
•Provides high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
•Enhances the quality of life for patients and their families, consulting and collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
•Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement in nursing care, staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines.
•Maintains and advances own clinical competence, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
•Participates in designated hospital committees and teams, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that impact patient care.
We currently have PERMANENT PART-TIME opportunities available in our Multi-System ICU department at Kelowna General Hospital.
This newly-created position offers a predictable schedule with every other weekend off, providing a great work-life balance.
Shifts will be nights, with occasional day shifts depending on staffing requirements.
