Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at CLC Building Solutions Inc. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth and even finish.
- Preparation and Estimation: Prepare tenders and quotations for concrete finishing projects, estimating costs and materials required.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Surface Preparation: Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, ensuring a precise and even finish.
- Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete concrete finishing tasks.
- Tool Operation: Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Training and Development: Instruct apprentices in concrete finishing techniques and best practices.
- Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Quality Control: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
As a Concrete Finisher at CLC Building Solutions Inc., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
