Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Enwin Construction Site. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols on foot and controlling access to the property. You will also be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security patrols on foot to ensure the safety and security of the construction site
  • Control access to the property and monitor CCTV cameras
  • Write reports and investigate routine incidents, including accidents and near-misses
  • Respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner, including fires, medical emergencies, and security breaches
  • Work closely with other security personnel and site staff to ensure a safe and secure working environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard license
  • Emergency First Aid & CPR certification
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy
  • Reliable transportation to the job site
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
