ENWIN Utilities Ltd. seeks a Risk and Governance Coordinator to provide support in risk management, corporate governance, and records management.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Manager, Risk and Governance, to develop the risk management program, review and edit policies and procedures, and track compliance. They will also assist with corporate secretariat duties, coordinate Board meetings, and compile agenda packages. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison between departments, the senior executive team, and stakeholders, and lead corporate processes and training.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience, or a college diploma with a minimum of three years of experience. They will also have knowledge of relevant legislation and by-laws, and experience in scheduling, preparing reports, and recording minutes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies
  • Reviewing and editing policies and procedures
  • Tracking compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating Board meetings and compiling agenda packages
  • Serving as a liaison between departments and stakeholders
  • Leading corporate processes and training
  • Assisting with contract management and corporate filings

Required skills and competencies include:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Diligent Board Book software
