Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market studies to determine real estate values
  • Liaise with municipalities, real estate brokers, developers, landlords, and tenants to collect information for annual property value determinations
  • Determine real estate values using various appraisal methods
  • Collect and update client information through income/expense statements and rent rolls
  • Support the design and development of high-quality deliverables, including proposals, engagement letters, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate with the client engagement team
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or law
  • Knowledge of current legislation and its impact on commercial property taxation
  • Understanding of real estate valuation for assessment purposes
