Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at A.K. Garg Enterprises Ltd. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to various duties, including sales floor coverage, customer service, and visual merchandising.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train new staff members, including providing on-the-job training and coaching.
- Authorize Payments and Merchandise: Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise for the store.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for sales staff, including ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, including handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational issues.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments.
- Manage Cash: Manage cash handling and reconciliation, including ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales staff, including providing feedback and coaching.

Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, including supervisory experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
