About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment in a GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Installation: Install, assemble, test, and troubleshoot machines and equipment according to production needs and manuals.
  • Qualification Procedures: Initiate and perform the machines and equipment's IQ, OQ, and PQ and complete the required reports.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service, and maintain the maintenance log.
  • Troubleshooting: Inspect machines and equipment regularly for signs of malfunctions, and resolve equipment problems as they arise.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and in a noisy environment.
  • Communication: Write the operation procedures according to the company SOPs and provide training to the operators as needed.
  • Reporting: Report to the immediate manager immediately on any mechanic and electrical issues and potential issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in GMP /Pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to act competently in emergencies and work on a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems for production equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Education

  • Mechanical diploma or certificate or equivalence.
  • Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or engineering specialties.
