What You'll Be Doing

The Capital Markets arm of CIBC provides integrated capital markets products, investment banking advisory services, corporate lending, and top-ranked research to corporate, government, institutional, and retail clients around the world. Global Markets, Global Investment Banking, and Corporate Banking.

CIBC's Global Markets business focuses on delivering expert financial and economic analysis and savvy deal-making capabilities to clients in Canada and around the world. The Global Markets team supports fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, derivatives, equities, and growth markets and is focused on building a strong, innovative relationship-oriented bank.

Within the Global Markets division, the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) leverages capital markets trading and technology, and is responsible for deploying and executing on a number of market-leading and innovative solutions, servicing clients in domestic and international markets. The Alternate Solutions Group has quickly become a global leader in financial technology, offering cutting-edge foreign exchange and payment solutions to help corporate, institutional, and retail clients manage risks and leverage market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one of the business segments
  • Identify service level adherence metrics, analysis reporting, and track for adherence with teams
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to meet client needs

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or Master's University degree in Industry & Management, Engineering, Computer Science, STEM, and/or Business
  • Strong overall knowledge of Capital Markets with sufficient knowledge of the financial services industry/regulatory environment
  • Ability to give meaning to data
