About the Role

We are seeking an experienced OTM Technical Expert to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and management of our Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all project tasks and outcomes linked to OTM infrastructure and platform architecture
  • Manage configurations within the OTM cloud environment
  • Deliver high-quality assistance to IT and business associates
  • Architect the OTM infrastructure and platform architecture, providing guidance to clients on system architecture and sizing
  • Design and develop product extensions, integrations, reports, and other solutions using Oracle technology stack
  • Support formal documentation of solutions, including requirements for product extensions
  • Work with supply chain application teams on initiatives related to improving and sustaining critical business systems and processes
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with interfacing groups within IT and across business boundaries
  • Participate in reviews of designs, prototypes, and completed products to ensure they fulfill requirements

Requirements

  • Educated in Computer Science or similar field (preferred)
  • A minimum 1 full cycle implementations as a technical consultant using Oracle OTM
  • Configuration skills within the OTM Cloud
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle implementation activities
  • Demonstrated competency in technical skills, including Weblogic Server, Oracle Database, SQL/PL-SQL, Java/J2EE, Apache/Tomcat, BPEL, SOA, BI Publisher, OBIEE, and Oracle technology stack
  • Demonstrated competency in SQL query design and performance tuning
  • Ability to work directly with Oracle Support and R&D teams
  • Demonstrated competency in architecting solutions using multiple software components, including Oracle OTM and other supply chain applications/software's
  • Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
