In our commitment to excellence, we offer a rewarding and safe work environment with opportunities for growth. We are seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our professional accounts payable team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, and be part of a dynamic group recognized for its true team spirit. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for one or more sites, working closely with internal and external customers to provide operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and validation of account statements;
  • Analysis and resolution of problematic invoices;
  • Taking part in the month-end process;
  • Processing and recording of invoices in various systems, mainly SAP and Guide TI;
  • Constant communication with sites and suppliers to ensure proper treatment of invoices;
  • Monitoring of debtor suppliers and accruals;
  • Responding to emails and calls in a timely manner;

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both official languages. You should also have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in a large company.

You will be highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Additionally, you must be able to make customers and their needs a primary focus of your actions. Solid planning and organizing skills are essential, as well as the ability to work as a team member, communicate with all levels of the organization, and adapt quickly to change.
