Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Avleen08 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Recruit and hire staff, and provide guidance and support to new employees.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient service.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
