Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Woodworking Craftsman to join our team at Vanway Kitchens. In this role, you will be responsible for operating woodworking machines, preparing custom-made cabinet specifications, and shaping surfaces or edges of wood workpieces.

About the Role:

  • You will operate power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage space.
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate costs and materials.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • You will work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have attention to detail.

Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
