Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Quanta Canada Renewables. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from conceptual design to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer prime contracts for utility-scale renewable energy projects
  • Oversee engineering, design, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams and subcontractors
  • Develop and implement project-specific schedules, budgets, and quality control plans
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure optimal communication, satisfaction, and effective coordination between the project and other activities
  • Administer and manage changes to prime contracts, procurements, and vendor relationships
  • Lead post-construction cost review and reporting, and ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and industry-leading best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Previous experience performing construction, contracting, and projects in the Power Delivery industry
  • Strong understanding of project design and integrated EPC process, construction means and methods, and safety and environmental best practices employed by the power industry
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and project management software
  • Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance measures utilized by the power industry
