We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at 13545962 CANADA INC. as a Decorative Finishing Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and wall covering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Wall Covering and Finishing: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and finish surfaces with a high-quality finish.
- Customer Service: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide expert advice on painting and decorating techniques.
- Health and Safety: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure a safe working environment.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to meet deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 38 hours per week.
