Job Description:

At Reddit, we're passionate about building a platform that enables community leaders and moderators to create and grow meaningful, destination communities. We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Moderation team, where you will be responsible for driving the development of our moderation platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy features that enable moderators to create and grow their communities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and product, to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Contribute to the full development cycle, from technical design to launch and iteration.
  • Partner with partner teams to deliver high-quality UI components.
  • Tackle tough design and product problems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks, such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience with Web Components or LitElement is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Deep experience with a modern web stack, including Javascript bundlers and React internals.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, such as unit testing, code reviews, design, and documentation.
  • Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software that improves people's lives globally.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
