We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fashion Department Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth through effective visual merchandising and store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  1. Develop and implement a customer-centric approach to store operations, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for all customers.
  2. Lead a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Collaborate with the store management team to develop and execute visual merchandising plans that drive sales and meet customer needs.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely execution of store operations, including pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
  5. Develop and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, training, and performance management.

Store Operations:

  1. Develop and implement effective store operations processes and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate execution of daily tasks.
  2. Lead a team of sales associates to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment, adhering to Canadian Tire's visual compliance standards.
  3. Collaborate with the store management team to develop and execute store maintenance and pricing standards.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely execution of weekly price changes and department POP.
  5. Develop and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, training, and performance management.

Training and Development:

  1. Develop and implement training programs to ensure sales associates have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and execute store operations effectively.
  2. Lead a team of sales associates to develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge, ensuring they can effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  3. Collaborate with the store management team to develop and execute training plans that meet the needs of the store and its customers.

Leadership and Development:

  1. Develop and implement leadership development programs to ensure sales associates have the necessary skills and knowledge to take on leadership roles within the store.
  2. Lead a team of sales associates to develop and maintain a high level of teamwork and collaboration, ensuring a positive and motivating work environment.
  3. Collaborate with the store management team to develop and execute leadership development plans that meet the needs of the store and its customers.

Requirements:

  1. Proven leadership and management experience in a retail environment.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
