{"h2": "About the Role", "p": "We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Westside Church Vancouver. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for our communications materials.

Your primary focus will be on developing and producing high-quality graphics, illustrations, and visual elements that align with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
* Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
* Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
* Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
* Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
* Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides

In addition to your design skills, you will also be responsible for supporting the integration of newcomers and refugees into our community. This may involve participating in government or community programs, assisting with immediate settlement needs, and supporting social and labour market integration.

Requirements:

* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
