The Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc. is seeking a skilled Home-Based Crisis Intervention Mentor to join our team. As a Home-Based Crisis Intervention Mentor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to families in crisis, helping them to navigate challenging situations and achieve their goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Respond to referrals from community partners and provide immediate support to families in crisis.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to help families achieve their goals.
  • Provide emotional support, mediation, and conflict resolution services to families.
  • Assist with homemaker duties, childcare, and respite care as needed.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

**Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated understanding of and sensitivity to the issues that impact children, youth, and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Current police and child abuse checks.
