About the Role

At Rio Contracting Inc., we are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Lay Bricks: Construct chimneys, fireplaces, and other masonry structures using bricks, stone, and other materials.
  • Estimate Materials: Calculate the quantity of materials needed for projects and prepare tenders and quotations.
  • Work at Heights: Perform tasks at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field is necessary.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in physically demanding conditions.
