We are seeking a Compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Thrive Group Canada.

This part-time position is responsible for providing non-medical support services, life-skills, mental health support, laundry, and light housekeeping duties to enable residents to live as independently as possible.

Duties include assisting residents with personal care, arranging and escorting residents to appointments, and performing housekeeping services under the direction of the resident's care plan and in accordance with Client Service Contracts, laws, and regulations governing service provision.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and experience in providing personal support services to individuals with mental health and concurrent disorders, disabilities, and/or seniors. Additional certification in personal support care, first aid, healthcare, or related qualifications are an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
  • Assist residents with meal preparation and serving.
  • Accompany residents to appointments and outings.

We offer a competitive salary range of $22-$28 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits, including Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), Health Benefits, and Employee Assistance Program.
