Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at RIG MASTER GROUP OF COMPANIES LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Estimate costs for parts and labour required to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services as per manufacturer's specifications
  • Provide expert advice to customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Record problems and work performed in detailed reports
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this position
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in heavy equipment maintenance is preferred
  • Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity are essential skills for this role
  • Flexibility, judgement, reliability, and ability to work as a team player are also required
Work Conditions
  • This is a permanent full-time position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week
  • The work language is English
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience, which is commensurate with industry standards and location.
