About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment. You will be responsible for teaching a variety of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as providing support for students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of subjects to students of various ages and backgrounds
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Provide support for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized university
  • A valid BC Teaching certificate or eligibility for certification through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
