Job Title: Personal Support Aide

Muskoka Landing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing personal care and support to our residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition to the supervisor
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to residents
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent experience
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Immunization records and a criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
