Structural Associate Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Structural Consultant to join our team at 30 Forensic Engineering in Vancouver, BC. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing site examinations, documenting review, and communicating investigation and analysis findings to colleagues and clients. They will also prepare structural calculations, simulations, and technical drawings from field measurements, sketches, and other data.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site examinations, document review, and communicate investigation and analysis findings to colleagues and clients.
  • Prepare structural calculations, simulations, and technical drawings from field measurements, sketches, and other data.
  • Manage client service deadlines, budgeting, invoicing, and accounts receivable on their projects.
  • Liaise with clients on a regular basis and provide updates throughout the investigation.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • + years of experience in a related field.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PEO and OIQ).
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • A valid Canadian driver's license.
